Afternoon my bloggers,
How you doing? So this book I've been reading, it's called Absolutely Positively Not. This is a really good book I think. It actually captures the whole 'I'm a teenager' thing and the 'my parents are such freaks' thing. It's about this guy who is 'absolutely positively not' gay. He starts out in the book by being afraid of himself possibly being gay. He progresses to not admitting he's gay. Then he tries to make himself straight by buying a porno magazine. He also tries dating a lot of girls, which doesn't make him straight either. He doesn't admit to anybody that he's gay until almost the end of the book. He even covers up himself being gay but taking a dog to a dance (he got into some sticky situations). This book is really good because it talks about accepting yourself and learning your identity. In the end he admits being gay and he is accepted, which is really wonderful. He even joins a support group with other gay teens. Though it seems I have given away the whole book, I didn't. It is really funny and a fast read. I would urge you to read it.
Later Guys,
