Blog Post #2
Hey Bloggers once again it's Libby here, reporting on the books and stuff. How are you all doing? Great. I am now reading the book Breathing Underwater, it is a book about a guy getting therapy for abusing his (now) exgirlfriend. Her name is Caitlin, and his name is Nick, he slapped her while he was driving around like a maniac and Caitlin got a restraining order against him, but he still thinks he's in love with her. As he goes to therapy he starts to realize how badly he was acting and how horrible his father was and is to him, how he was abused and does not know how to deal with situations without hurting someone else. He lost all his friends and feels very alone. Nick has made some really stupid decisions but thinks now can be the time for him to change himself. This is a really good book I think, the way it was written is a little unique. There are journal entries from him talking about the past, and about what it was like to be with Caitlin, it shows how much he screwed up. This book can also be a little confusing at times because it takes a long time reading for him to explain the things he mentions in the beginning of the book. Overall, good book people. READ IT. Until next week, this is Libby, over and OUT.

Hi, my darling. I started this book once during Book Lovin' and never finished it. You should tell me how it ends.
ReplyDeleteIt actually has a halfway decent ending, but he doesn't get back together with Caitlin which makes me very sad. Talk to me about it Monday(:
