Room Again
It's Libby, I know I don't have to blog again this week, but I just finished Room and I'm like shaking. I would most definitely read it again. This book is seriously unbelievable. I literally read it all of yesterday and I woke up this morning and just read. I could not put it down. If you want to read it you should probably stop reading this blog cause I'm gonna spoil it for you. Ma doesn't tell the little boy (Jack) that life actually exists outside of Room. She tells him that the TV isn't showing anything that is real. And she finally tells Jack that she was kidnapped and Old Nick has kept her in Room ever since. 7 years. Then they try to escape, she makes Jack pretend he is really sick to get Old Nick to take him to the hospital, but he won't, so the next night when he comes they pretend Jack is dead and Ma makes Old Nick bury him, she tells him to take Jack far away, so Jack is wrapped in a rug and Old Nick puts him in the back of his truck and starts driving away. The plan is Jack is supposed to unwrap himself from the rug and jump out of the back of the truck at the first stop sign, but the tension builds when he has trouble unravelling himself until the third or fourth stop. When Jack finally unwraps himself he jumps out of the truck and runs towards the first person he sees, Jack has never talked to anyone else his whole life so he has trouble getting the words out. Old Nick is chasing after him. And the man thinks Old Nick is his caring father or something. With luck the man has a dog and it bites Jack so the guy calls the police and Old Nick runs and drives away. The police get there and Jack manages to tell them he was kidnapped and they needed to save his mother. The book got really intense and I won't tell you anymore, you'll just have to read it, so read on! Over and Out

My 3rd Blog Post
Hi guys, Libby, now I am reading the book Room, by Emma Donoghue. This book is a national bestseller and I can already see why, and I am only on the first chapter, granted there are only five, and the book is 321 pages. I would say I am doing pretty well on it. This book is about a little boy who just turned five, and his mother who is 26. They live together in Room. They eat meals on Table. The little boy sleeps in Wardrobe, and his mom sleeps in Bed. I really like this book and would recommend it to anybody. The writing style is very distinct and nice to read. This little boy really tells it like it is. He has never left Room, and 'Old Nick' brings them the things they need. He has never seen 'Old Nick' because his mom locks him in Wardrobe before 'Old Nick' comes. This book really makes you think about life and how it is you live. I look forward to finishing this book and if I did not have english reading and other homework I would never put it down. That is all for today. And read Room, cause it rocks. Read it.
