Blog Post #2
Hey Bloggers once again it's Libby here, reporting on the books and stuff. How are you all doing? Great. I am now reading the book Breathing Underwater, it is a book about a guy getting therapy for abusing his (now) exgirlfriend. Her name is Caitlin, and his name is Nick, he slapped her while he was driving around like a maniac and Caitlin got a restraining order against him, but he still thinks he's in love with her. As he goes to therapy he starts to realize how badly he was acting and how horrible his father was and is to him, how he was abused and does not know how to deal with situations without hurting someone else. He lost all his friends and feels very alone. Nick has made some really stupid decisions but thinks now can be the time for him to change himself. This is a really good book I think, the way it was written is a little unique. There are journal entries from him talking about the past, and about what it was like to be with Caitlin, it shows how much he screwed up. This book can also be a little confusing at times because it takes a long time reading for him to explain the things he mentions in the beginning of the book. Overall, good book people. READ IT. Until next week, this is Libby, over and OUT.

My First Blog Post
Hey all you bloggers! Libby here reporting on the book Another Fine Myth by Robert Asprin. I had to get the book in large print so no one would put it on hold and I could take a really long time reading it. I have read up to chapter thirteen now. The book is a fantasy novel about a magician's apprentice. The magician, Garkin, got killed unexpectedly and now Skeeve has a new mentor who is a magician from a strange other dimension called Perv, making him a pervect, not a pervert. This magician is named Aahz and is teaching Skeeve new strange magic and showing Skeeve to not steal with magic, but to use it when needed and that you have as much power as you believe you do. It sounds really cheesy, but it is really good. Aahz lost his powers and they are traveling all over fighting and finding mystical creatures trying to get Aahz's magic back; Deevels, Imps, dragons, unicorns. I would recommend this book to anyone who is into fantasy, the book is written really well and explains all the "made-up" stuff really clearly. Well, goodbye for now! Get ready for another thrilling post next week!
